Here, we had a spacious room with comfortable beds and nearly soundproof windows, plus plenty of storage space, in addition to a great location and friendly staff.

The hotel is a bit old but quite well maintained. It has spacious rooms and parking. The breakfast is not very varied but enough to start the day.

Communication with the staff was somewhat difficult as only one cleaner spoke Spanish. The elevator was out of order the first night, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. As we were not able to cancel 100% of our stay when checking in (due to credit card limits), by the second day our reservation had been cancelled. Thanks to the cleaning lady who spoke Spanish we were able to solve the problem. Although it is only a few blocks away from the Paseo de la Fama, in the surroundings of the hotel you can see many people sleeping in the streets (although we must clarify that we did not have any inconvenience).

We booked here because we got cancelled somewhere else and got a room on the spot. . The price I think is in line with what you see in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. Positive:. - Free PARKING. Indispensable if you are with a car in LA. - Breakfast included: not too much variety (juice, coffee, cereal, waffles, toast), but more than acceptable. - Room size and availability of coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. - Room made to new. You can tell from the bathroom that it was spotless. Very good shower. - Location: midway between Sunset and Hollywood Blv, only 25/30 walk to the walk of fame and 45 walk to the observatory (the best LA has). Also, 200m from the 101 to get to or from LA easily. For those who use public transportation: 200m from the metro station. Many options to buy food and even a giant Wallgreens and Food4Less at 100m.

Staff was pretty nice, room was nice as well, definitely liked big bed in it.

Only one thing in the bathroom which i didn't like was a shower, a bit poor pressure and you can't move it.

The breakfast here is particularly nice with bread and butter, and they have a waffle maker, the location is excellent and fantastic with an awesome restaurant.

Great value for money. I stayed with my son and found it very difficult to find a reasonnly priced hotel that had two beds, which this hotel did plus included free continental breakfast. The location was great, close to most attractions and with the subway close by.

For a short trip in la, we were satisfied with our stay at Super 8 Hollywood. The staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean (but small) and it was conveniently located walking distance from a Starbucks and subway. If you are after luxury, this might not be the hotel for you. But if the purpose of your trip is to be out and about sight seeing all day, then Super 8 Hollywood is all you need.

Surrounding area seemed a little bit dodgey at night.. But safe in the hotel.

Cheerful family-friendly place with a nice location next to Griffith Observatory and Hollywood/Western Metro station. Nice room with a large bathroom. Early check-in and late check-out available. Competent staff and good service offered.

I thought that the hotel was located in an excellent location. Walking distance to the metro which would be one - two spots to get directly into the centre of Hollywood. There were also many close bus stops near by to take you into downtown hollywood or the beaches. The reception/lobby area was quite fancy considering the price you pay for the hotel. Our room was quite spacious and had airconditioning and cable tv which was great. It was cleaned well. We could also see the hollywood sign and the famous castle from our room which was nice. The room service man was very friendly and so were most reception staff.

Breakfast could be a little better. Although decent conisdering the price you pay - they could increase their variety. The breakfast area (just by the front lobby) was also very small and hard to find a seat in the morning when it was busy.

Only 5 minutes drive away from Hollywood 'stars' tourist attraction!

The staff were super friendly. Enjoyed the favorable location close to a supermarket, the metro, and attractions. - Coffee & tea making facilities and a refrigerator in my queen room were a very thoughtful addition.

Great location, the bed was amazing, the room was clean and spacious, bfast size was perfect, toast ceral and donuts and juice/coffee. The only thing I could pick on is they need more room for b/fast. Everything else was great!
